Muhyidin Khalif Hag is an agricultural economist by training with more than 17 years of experience in food security and the livelihoods sector. He is dynamic and result-oriented and has successfully managed multi-sectoral humanitarian, development, and resilience programs implemented in conflict and post-conflict settings in East Africa, Middle East, and North Africa. Broadly, Muhyidin has diversified professional capacities with several INGOs including Mercy Corps, Oxfam GB, Islamic Relief, Danish Refugee Council, Norwegian Refugee Council, Silatech Foundation and ICRC managing the South Sudan Economic Security Portfolio. He successfully managed multi-million programs in complex humanitarian settings responding to emergencies and linking relief to long-term resilience actions. During this journey, he managed programs that have been funded by key industry donors including ECHO, EC, USAID, DFID, DANIDA, SIDA, IsDB, QFFD, World Bank and AfDB.
